In the role of Senior Engineer, you will be working directly with Program Managers, Project Managers and Project Teams managing oil and gas pipeline projects all the way from planning and design through the final construction and closeout.    This is an opportunity to work with one of the Nation’s Leaders in Pipeline EPC Integrity Management.  Our Senior Engineers develop specifications and drawings for assigned projects including design calculations, project objectives, and responsibilities by reviewing client requirements, project proposals and plans, and conferring with the Program Director, Project Manager and client representatives.  This role is a leadership position, and you will be responsible for working with a team to develop a comprehensive workflow process tasks, and project assignments.  This is a pivotal role that offers upward mobility to the right candidate.

To meet the basic requirements for this role you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering required.
  • This position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in Design Engineering.
  • Experience should include oil and gas and/or pipeline experience and oil/gas specific training.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Experience working in a matrix reporting structure preferred.

The Ideal candidate should also have:

  • Extensive experience in cross country and urban pipeline or facilities design.
  • Understands and is proficient with required codes and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems and work creatively in a team environment to resolve them.
  • Ability to respond in a flexible manner and to reprioritize work as the situation demands.
  • Has developed excellent communication skills, both written and verbal through experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Ability to develop and follow schedules.
  • Basic understanding of CAD.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including internal resources and clients.
  • Ability to read and interpret communication styles of team members and clients who come from both technical and non-technical disciplines.
  • Problem Solving – Identify problems and work creatively in a team environment to resolve them.
  • Flexibility – Respond in a flexible manner to issues; reprioritize work as the situation demands.
  • Communication – Posses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Campos EPC  (CEPC) was founded in 2005 by its Managing Principal, Marco Campos. The basic premise of the company was to provide customer oriented support and experience to our clients at a reasonable price, while ensuring that all employees could share in the success of the company.  Initially, the company focus was on supporting clients in the many facets of pipeline integrity regulations, programs and implementation.
